Nomad Goods is known for its extremely durable and high-quality Apple-focused accessories. They offer everything from rip stop USB C cables to luxury Horween leather iPhone cases. As an outdoor-focused organization, they recently launched a new collection of California topographic wallpapers inspired by the terrain of places like Lake Tahoe and Yosemite Valley.
California Topographic Wallpapers
According to Noah Dentzel, Co-Founder and CEO of Nomad, "We create products to keep the modern nomad charged, protected, and organized while on the go. Purpose-driven design and the right materials are at the center of everything we do." While maintaining this quality in their hardware designs, they also show respect for the natural environment where many of their customers reside. They describe the wallpaper collection as a love letter to California, focusing on the areas that shape their work.
It is important to note that Santa Barbara is where Nomad's headquarters is located. Lastly, an updated version of the classic Nomad black-and-white topo map they have used in their marketing materials since the beginning has also been included. The new version is a nod to the digital age with its intentionally digitized lines and slightly lighter shades than white.
Local specific topographic wallpapers are large canvases for two reasons: The main physical locations are depicted from a top-down view, and each image can be used on multiple devices without distortion. Each image is larger than 3,000 x 3,000 resolution, allowing for cropping for iPhones, iPads, or desktop computers without compromising image quality.
